Take up a collection if you are worried about the grass, it is Aug in Tennessee, and buy a blue lense then the grass will look great. Then when closer to game time they will get out the liquid iron then the field will be green as a gord. Done this way too many times on PGA events to count.

I like a grass field. I really do. But I wouldn't mind at all going to artificial if it meant I wouldn't have to read about how bad the grass is growing anymore lol

I know DP came on here a while ago when UT put new sod down because the one put down in 2012 didn't take root for some reason. I'm not sure why? Les Miles was last here in 2011 so we can't blame him.

Thanks for posting....thanks for putting this season-ending concern to rest...we have other things are more important to worry about.
