8 teams? Top seeded teams hosting playoff games? Sounds impossible. Ridiculous AND
Absolutely the way it should be in the FBS level

Remember what keeps happening to Notre Dame every time they slip in? Or Michigan State that one year? You are just going to see more of that.

And it kills the NY6 games. Either the teams in them will be even worse, or they are sucked into the playoffs and winning one doesnt men anything besides surviving to the next round.

I think at first it will still be top heavy, but for the long term betterment of the game you need to create more important games. I think the more teams that can recruit and sell the idea that they can reach the CFP the better it wil be. I also think the top 4 seeds hosting a home CFP will be huge. I think it keeps the regular season relevant and will make a team like Ohio State or UGA who frequently blow regular season to lesser opponents face the consequence of traveling to a tough road enviromoment to move forward.

I dont think it changes anything. Look at what has happened with the playoffs. I can go ahead and tell you three of the teams that will be in it. I dont even have to say it, you know. Why? Because it doesnt create parity.

It's an argument that gets constantly used, but history doesnt back it up.

There have been 6 teams in the playoff championship game the 6 years it has happened. 3 of those were one offs. Great parity.

The previous six BCS championship games had 7 one offs, 1 repeat, and then Bama three times. That's a lot more parity even with the dominance of Bama.

A 16 team Playoff in FBS would be incredible:cool:

Saturday’s games.
Interesting, 3 of the games are on Pluto TV which is a great free tv app, you don’t need to register or anything.
