Our temperature today is suppose to be 98 degrees with a heat index of 105. I would much rather have hot weather than cold weather, but this is taking it a little too far as far as a comfort level goes.

Careful what you wish for. Here in about 6 months, it'll be "We're freezin' our balls off!" Remember (unless you have to work outside): there's always pools, lakes, sprinklers, or fire hydrants (if you have the right tool)!

I had a great day out in the pool. Perfect weather for that... :matrix:

It's so hot here that the pool temperature is above 90!?! If you jump in the pool late in the day when the temp has dropped a little, the pool is actually warmer than the outside air and it feels like bath water. :yuck:

All this whining about heat  ? I know it gets hot in TN but it just gets stupid here. What is a "dry heat" you ask? Well, a dry heat w/ no wind is kinda like sticking your head into an oven. However, a dry heat w/ the wind blowing is just like pointing a hairdryer straight in you face. Either way, it sucks. I do miss the fall in TN though.
