All this whining about heat  ?  I know it gets hot in TN but it just gets stupid here.  What is a "dry heat" you ask?  Well, a dry heat w/ no wind is kinda like sticking your head into an oven.  However, a dry heat w/ the wind blowing is just like pointing a hairdryer straight in you face.  Either way, it sucks.  I do miss the fall in TN though.

I feel you PJ. I was young when we lived in Phoenix, but I remember it being so friggin' hot that you couldn't even walk across the driveway. I virtually lived in our pool, to the point that in pictures, my hair was completely blonde. If I had known better back then, I could have really been in with the chicks.

Anyone who thinks that the "dry heat" of Arizona is more tolerable should turn on the stove and stand on an eye, crank up a furnace and lean over it, and have a friend pelt you with a sandblaster to simulate a dust storm.

Those dust storms are something else. It gets so bad that I have to pull over to the side of the road because visibility goes down to zero.
