A lot of people feel that way.

I can watch it all day long. And if you've ever been to Augusta National, you know the course barely needs the golfers.

Never been there, heard its awesome. I have been to the US Open and other events at Torrey Pines and I prefer it much better in person

I've been to a lot of golf tournaments. The Masters isn't even in the same conversation.

Having been there several times, I'd actually prefer to go to the Heritage and drink all week. :). But, yeah, it's sort of like the Grand Canyon. You have to see it live to really believe it.

No doubt about it. It's much easier to walk, a lot easier to see different holes, a more laid back atmosphere and I can stay for free at my parent's condo 5 minutes from Harbour Town.

Going to the tuesday round again this year. Can't wait to spend another $400+ on gear.

The pro shop as you walk in has at least 20 registers and must do more in a week than many decent size corporations do in a year.

One of my friends from college(yes, my small college. Go figure) interned at Augusta National. Told me they charge no membership fees and they make all the money they need to run for an entire year in the one week of the Masters tournament.

Don't privelaged members pay a buttload of money for the right to join?
