after the way he talked after the game, i'm not surprised. i don't know if it was just me, but he seemed very cold towards his players and staff.

I can appreciate that, but the on the field reporter asked Fran what he thought about his team and players and he just shrugged his shoulders and made some useless remark. He is a butthead.

I can think of one nice thing to say about him. He jilted the bammers and pissed them off.

The Texas papers are reporting Houston Texans offensive coordinator Mike Sherman is believed to be the leading candidate to replace Franchione.

At 11:00 am this morning Mike Sherman will be announced as our new coach at aTm, and while I am glad to see an end of an era for Fran, (ps, he is probablly going to SMU) I look at this move as a band-aide on a broken leg. We will see. On a more positive note however, WE BEAT THE HELL OUTTA TEXAS on friday!!!!! That's 2 in a row you stinking overated sips.....hahahahahahahah!!! Gig em. Period. Oh and since this is my first post of the week, how bout the ORANGE in 4 OT's........ Never DIE attitude!!! Now lets whip L-Les-U and send him off to Michigan! GO VOLS!

.......and with that, a new era begins for aTm. I'll have my "optimistic cigar" as soon as I get home today. Welcome Coach Sherman. :popcorn: :good!:
