It’s a stupid justification based on feelings. Need to take the human element out of this crap. First look at head-to-head. Then look at common opponents. We both played LSU and Vandy. We beat both. They didn’t.

In the NFL you aren’t penalized before the playoffs because the star player got hurt. Your record earns your spot and then you play the next game. If you lose because star player was missing then oh well. But you don’t say “well their record says they are a 4 seed but because QB is hurt we are dropping them down to a 6 seed.” It’s stupid.

As much as I love to watch CFB the post season being based on human biases is the most backwards part.

Where is the dude who was adamant that TCU wouldn’t make the playoff with a loss? Not only did TCU still make the playoff field, but they didn’t even drop a spot in the rankings lol.

What really turned my stomach was when the reporter claimed Tennessee and LSU beat Bama when BY was not 100%. Poor baby in the 2 games combined for 60 completions with 784 yards and 3 touchdowns. I guess if the dude had of been 100% he would have had over 2000 yards. Tennessee beat them because they could not stop Hendon and Hyatt. The media needs to stop being Saban`s lap dog.

It was pretty easy really. The committee didn’t want a MI-OSU rematch in the semis. Easy for them to leave TCU at 3 and put OSU at 4.

I hope Tennessee doesn't sleepwalk in their bowl game because they're pissed off not going to the bowl game they want and get knocked around.
