There are certain levels you reach as a basketball coach that make you a viable coaching candidate. I would think Sweet 16...Elite 8...Final Four...National Champions. Once you have any team reach that plateau you are going to be in the talk for any job that comes avaliable. We hired Kevin O'Neal after he reached the Sweet 16 with Marquette...hired Bruce Pearl after successive Sweet 16 appearences with Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Now with that being said we hired Martin without any of those accomplishments so my question is why was Martin hired?

If you don't like the topic of a thread why bash the person who starts it. I swear this crap is just another stage of bullying. I wish some of you would grow up. These threads are for anyone who wants to ask a question. State their opinion on UT. But quit the constant bashing please. Save that for the trolls of other teams that want to bash UT. GBO!!!!

I do not condone bullying, but people have the right to voice their opinion about a topic that has been discussed many, many, many times...over and again. We are playing decent basketball right now. It. Gets. Old.

Let's see where we are at year's end.

First off chill bro. It will be okay.

Second look at some of the op's posts and you may begin to understand where this is all coming from.

Lastly I think he can handle it.
