This season has given me Butch vibes. Not necessarily record wise, but you don’t beat Bama, LSU, and Florida then proceed to lose to SC.

Nothing about this season gave me Butch Jones vibes.

This team does has some toughness issues similar to a Butch Jones coached team. We had guys tapping their helmets wanting to come out last night.

Just pointing out that BJ never beat Bama and Florida

But he did beat Florida and Georgia and then choke it all away. It’s Semantics he never beat Florida and Alabama in the same year. The comment is the “vibe” is the same (be set up to achieve major goals and choke it all away by losing to an inferior opponent).

We should ALL understand that feeling by now (2001 SECCG, Basketball Grant and Admiral’s last year, baseball this past season). It’s the “Tennessee way” regardless of sport or coach and I’m sick of living it repeatedly.
