Actually past time considering we have lost 4 of the last 5. This team is on the bubble and if they don't get their act together we are going to the NIT.

We have lost games that we shouldn't have lost to:
Charlotte, Charleston, Oakland, Florida twice, Alabama, USC, Arkansas, and Georgia. That's 9 losses that could have been wins.

Goins and Tatum combined for 5 points today. Neither one has played well recently, so maybe they need to be benched. Maybe some of our 4 star players that sit on the bench need to play. It can't hurt, we are losing anyway!

and who exactly are going to take their place....I think it is high time we realize that the pundits were right to start the season. UT is about the fourth best team in the east and simply aren't that good this year. Simply lost too much leadership from last years team. I wanted to believe that they were going to do better than expected, but they aren't.

Well his poor decisions near the end of the game (hanging on the rim and fouling a 3 point shooter) probably cost us the game. It shouldn't be hard to replace 2 points and 3 assists.

Tatum is capable of so much more. Goins is average at best, I'm not sure why people were hyping him in the offseason.

There's no point in benching and experimenting with all that stuff this late in the season. Just go with what you have and hope for the best.

Think we are having bad games. Memphis loses to Rice by 15.

Maybe 6 or 7 of these could have been wins-split with the Gators and easily beaten Charlotte, College of Charleston, Oakland, UGA and Hogs.:thumbsup:

I wishe we could send a message and bench our fans. No intensity today until the players and coaching staff start begging them for some noise.

Pearl and McBee are not good players. Keep a 8 man rotation with good players and make the team run laps in practice for every bone head play they make in a game.

To answer your question. I think Bruce has made his bed...now he will have to sleep in it. Another...sure. You dance with the girl you brought to the dance. How about... You can't win the Kentucky Derby with a mule. I could go on forever!!!

I agree. Looks like he has recruited guys with character issues and the lack of ability to be team players.

I agree 100%. i constantly was like folks lets get loud and they looked at me like sit down. Of course there were several people who are loud regulars that sold there seats to folks with kids who came just to see a game in person. I was aggravated.

You have to be an inconsiderate ass, stand up, take your shirt off, sling your beer and curse at the kids behind you for us to win. We need some more horses' butts in the stands before we can be a winning team.

Best post I've seen on here. They played over their heads in a couple games and we all rushed to think they were a top 10 or 20 team. Just isn't there.
They are what they are.
It isn't lack of coaching.
It isn't one player's fault.
Again, they are what they are.

Ok. And who do you replace him with? A less talented, slower McBee or an inexperienced and undependable Jordan Mcrae?

Or maybe you are suggesting we play with 4 players and just forget about a PG?

Benching a player for someone who is playing better and more capable is one thing, but when he's all you got, you're stuck with him.

The TBA crowd is nothing short of an embarrassment relative to its size....unless McBrick hits a shot.

But yeah, we are absolutely pathetic and those people who looked at you like "sit down" need to get off their asses and suck fat one.

Waaaay to late....this team has no chemistry, lacking point guard status, and just cannot get into a flow. They have peaked.
