As a Gator fan:

1) We never seem to have a true beast at running back. Yes, Emmit Smith had a Hall of Fame pro career and was a solid college RB. Still, when do we get a guy who doesn't look like an undersized WR converted to RB just because he can get to the corner so fast? Where is our bruiser, 3 yards and a cloud of dust, RB?

2) Colors. The blue is too light and the orange is ... well, not a good match.

3) "Florida Field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium." Evidently, everything has its price.

4) "The Swamp." As a native Floridian who by definition loathes the heat and humidity down here, calling it a swamp is not nearly as intimidating as it is a reminder of how uncomfortable I'm going to be today.

5) Jorts. 'nuff said.

1) No need to go all the way back to Emmitt. Fred Taylor and Terry Jackson could get a tough yard or two.

2) Agree....wish we could de-emphasize the orange and focus more on the blue.

3) Meh...The Bill Heavener Football Complex at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Florida Field thinks you should up your booster contribution and quit hating. :)

4) Agree to disagree. Our opponents should be worried about how uncomfortable they're going to be. THe fans can walk underneath the stands, get a Gatorade and watch the game on TV monitors located throughout Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at Florida Field.

5) Having traveled to every SEC venue excluding Starkville (probably because it's called Starkville), I can say with 100% confidence that jorts are not solely a Gainesville phenomenon.

Oh, I absolutely HATE the guy who wears one orange Croc and one blue croc whose job it is to fire up the crowd during pre-game.

He should be stabbed with an unfolded paper clip until he bleeds to death.

I thought that is why UF recruited Tebow. Am I wrong?

I've never seen an orange and blue alligator; ergo, I understand your angst.

Unfortunately, every venue in college will soon be known by its corporate sponsor. Jumping on the bandwagon early is financially prudent.
4) "The Swamp." As a native Floridian who by definition loathes the heat and humidity down here, calling it a swamp is not nearly as intimidating as it is a reminder of how uncomfortable I'm going to be today.
Incredibly uncomfortable. More so for opposing teams, though, I would think.
5) Jorts. 'nuff said.
Correct.

- Our AD
- Our "atmosphere" at home games in the last several years
- The "sit down and clap, to the beat of Rocky Top, in your seat" crowd
- Our Orange & Orange uniforms. Bad record, Bad look.
- Our play-by-play announcer [mostly just during football games]

Is Bob Kesling still doing play-by-play for UT football?

He's no John Ward (nobody is), but he's 100x better than Mick Hubert.

Yes, I know he is doing football and basketball. I would like to be able to mute Gary and Vern to turn on the radio....still not prefered.

pro-2bits or anti-2bits?

Definitely pro-2 bits....however there's this young kid who tries to get the 2 bits cheer going during the most inopportune times, like when we're on offense, or just before a play happens.

That kid should also be stabbed with an unfolded paper clip repeatedly, as there is only ONE Mr. Two Bits.

That brings to mind one of my pet peeves. The wave in general, but especially the idiots that try to start it when we are on offense.
