One of the five best catchers of all-time IMO.

Should be.

Interesting note; Out of all the players Jose Canseco "outed", he's the only one without any proof to his name.

I mean, he definitely should be in. Wasn't questioning that.

Barry Bonds should be, too.

If Barry doesn't get in, I will lose what very little respect I have for the BBWA and their voting agendas.

Sadly, i feel there will be plenty of baseball writers who do their damndest to keep Barry and others linked in any form to PEDs out of the hall of fame.

Bonds was an out right cheater that lied about it. Caused a very large black eye on the sport and took away a record that someone better than him deserves. There should always be an asterisk next to that man's name.

Barry Bonds is better than Hank Aaron.

Sure, put an asterisk, whatever... but do it to his name IN the hall of fame. He's one of the best baseball players of all time.

Barry Bonds > Hank Aaron. Brought to you by facts of the world that aren't changing.

Put the asterisk, then.

Barry Bonds - OF *Played in an era where people, including Bonds, were using steroids. We don't totally know when this use started. We don't totally know what effect steroids had. We don't totally know who was or was not using. What we do know, however, is that Bonds was better at baseball than... well... almost anyone ever*

You are honestly going to say Barry Bonds did not use steroids?

I'm honestly going to say there are no "facts" on the matter. I'm also going to say he belongs in the HoF, more so than almost anyone. But Dbake is already making that case.

It is a fact he took them. However, he claims he didn't know.

Aw, golly gee shucks. HOFer. Top 5 of all-time, without question. I would argue #1 all-time.

Anyways, Pudge had a great career and absolutely belongs in the hall. I believe he gets there.

Yeah, true. The fact that Ruth has the same # of career shutouts as Pedro Martinez is pretty impressive.

Not claiming he wasn't good, please show me where I did?

How is Bonds concretely better than Aaron in your opinion? Out of BA, RBI, HR and HITS Bonds only holds the HR over Aaron.
