Never had the pleasure.

Lived in Morristown briefly, but that's about as close as I've been.

you have to go over Clinch Mountain from Bean Station to get there, there is 1 convenience store on Highway 25,oh and there is a closed Pool Hall too, or you will miss it :)

it is thru Frontier,I was so surprised when DSL was offered that i ignored a couple of phone call from them at first

Yep you are lucky to have that

Your best option for tv service may be to go with Dish. Get their introductory pricing then flip back to Direct in a couple of years. It is aggravating to do that but it can get you the channels you want and save some bucks.

Do you have a smartphone or tablet? If so, is it Android or Apple?

no nothing like that,i have a desk top computer and that is pretty much all I need,I have no interest in getting a cell phone either

I just have no need for a pocket phone, other than my poor old truck is old and probably need one for when it breaks down, which hopefully somebody that has one, will stop and help me :)

Don't even worry about connecting your computer to the TV

Your best bet is the Roku. They are less than $100. Connect to your TV via HDMI. . Picture quality is HD. Get your sisters login for WatchESPN or pay the $25 for the Sling TV app.

CBSSports.com streams the SEC afternoon games for free. Not sure if you can get that on Roku but if not it will just be one or two games you may be sitting in front of your computer for.

Roku is just a device that hooks up a computer wirelessly from a router right ?I did talk to a rep from ROKU and it seems i have to have something turned on for it to work as in Sling TV or ESPN thru a cable or dish provider,it won't let me just run anything from the computer,i couldn't just run any video

and isn't the diffidence in DVI to HDMI is just the quality of sound ? I read where it is all digital quality and I wouldn't lose any quality going to the TV but that I would lose sound quality which won't matter, since my better sound is on the computer anyway and my TV has crap for speakers ,I actually had a set of old computer speakers and it sounded a lot better

Does anybody know how Sling and Roku work together? I have to watch live or is it on demand?

no idea about the Roku, call em and tell what you want to do,they were very helpful

I bought a DVI to HDMI converter cable for 25 bucks and the picture quality on the TV is very good

and my damn sisters won't help me out on the TV provider and password for Watch ESPN,they keep saying they will, but they seem to be lieing to me,since neither one seems to be willing to spend 10 minutes on the phone with there TV provider,I told them that they don't have to worry about me logging in to there account and paying there damn bill :)

so i will try and find some other way to watch it today, hopefully this site will work

Feed2all p2p4u Wiziwig Watch Live NFL Online. Watch Live NCAA Online. American Football Live Streams

I do know to have shields up for them and to not download anything :)

GM, dish is having a 2 year lock down price special right now. I ended up picking it up. 49/mo plus 7/mo per additional tv. (First included in the 49) all the TVs are Dvr as well with no additional fee and free HD. If you decide to go this route, I can 'refer' you and save us both $5 a month on top of that for 10 months.

I will keep that in mind for sure appyvol, but my poor old truck is sick and I've had to buy a car from a friend,he is being great about it and putting me on a payment plan,so I'm not sure when a dish will be turned backed on :) I've got around that by using

PrimeWire | 1Channel | LetMeWatchThis - Watch Movies Online Free - Just Added

it is a shields up and run a pop up blocker site :)

that does sound like a good deal,DirectTV has gotten to expensive and donesn't offer a comparable package with both ESPNU and the SEC network on them and has a separate charge for HD

And Roku works well off wireless? All my devices stream hd and hdx fine off wireless, except our smart tv - though it usually works. Just wanna make sure it doesn't have to be ethernet connection.
