That's also a great choice! Yes, the cigars are always in a cool, dark and humidity-regulated humidor. I don't smoke them often, which is why I have some as old as our last win against bama. But they will smoke nicely starting tomorrow around dinner time...GBO!!!

Here’s one of my favs but I’ll smoke a cigar regardless of the outcome. I love cigars.

Those H Upman 1844s are nice for a non Cuban and a buddy of mine's favorites. I would love to get my hands on a Sir Winston Gran Reserva.

I love the Siglo line - those look like 2 VI and a IV. Also, you must have had them a bit since that is an older label.

If its still moist is will be GREAT. The behike is a lovely experience. Holo and pigtail look good. Its in a bit rough shape though. Usually triple cap is made better too.

I like the Romeo y Julietta reserva real for a very mild cigar and they are good cigars.

Great smoke for a newbie. Cant go wrong there and will at least introduce them to the idea of cigars with a pleasing flavor.

Legend has it he never lit them.

I have enjoyed a number of the 660s but not this shorter vitola yet. Not something for beginners usually but pretty tasty. Would recommend a punch cut or a V cut from side to side since they can sometimes unravel a bit at the top with a straight cut.

Those t52s in there look yummy. I prefer the 9s but Drew's liga pravda is excellent.

Suggestions for a couple friends who don't normally smoke cigars? I enjoyed the Dominicans I brought back, and I *might* have one of the "special" ones that came back with me from a nearby country saved for myself...

The standard advice for beginners is a lighter Connecticut of some kind, but I tend to lean the other way. Pick something with a bit more body and they'll appreciate it even if their palate isn't advanced. Any of Padron's anniversary series is a solid choice, Don Pepin Garcia, Oliva Serie V, Undercrown maduro, etc..

Something along those lines... Plus, they'll be a bit more forgiving if they smoke too fast.

Nice! Yeah, Rocky’s a good smoke. Haven’t had a Rocky in a while. My brother in law has a George T Stagg from 2001 or 02 (?) he hasn’t opened, isn’t gonna drink and won’t give it to me for Christmas. Clearly, he’s not a very good BIL.

My Cuban stash is getting a bit slim. Haven't been outta the country since Covid hit. Had to fly home from Colombia just as it was starting. Got a gift from the gods then though- boarding officer would not let guy board his flight direct to Miami with Cuban cigars. I was sitting nearby when all this going on, he ended up having to toss two boxes of Cubans. I was connecting through Panama to Houston so was able to just literally walk over, pick them up from the top of the trash can and slip them into my carry-on. Wherever you are out there dude, I salute you.

I got mine by luck about 10 years ago even though I quit smoking them - Hopefully I get to use one Saturday
