Also just don’t go to Pat’s in the first place, it’s a tourist attraction but not that good

Agreed, I had my fill working there and basically never go there now. Penn Station, Potbelly, Firehouse, Jersey Mike’s are my spots

I've never had Penn Station or Potbelly. I'll keep my eye out for those.

The chicken one is good too. I usually do the big kahuna minus the shrooms. Basically a cheesesteak with jalapeños.

I think it's Chicago-based but has spread at least to NY, they have those giardiniera peppers that Chicagoans put on Italian beef sandwiches and I love them

The Potbelly that was Knoxville lasted about 6 months before it closed. Not sure if it was a bad location or what as I thought the food was decent.
