so a proven Qb at 60-70% isnt better than a guy who is actually a wide reciever? all im saying is that if we lost to their first string qb it would have looked a lot better than that.

That day Bray sure as hell wasn't. He was sick and his thumb was bothering him.

It may have looked better losing to them with a first string QB, but you had one sh*t team losing to another sh*t team. No big shock there. It was bound to happen once in 27 years. Most people just didn't figure it would happen this year. It happens when you don't show up.

im not trying to argue who is better between bray and a wr, all im saying is that we cant talk crap to him about losing to those types of qbs when we got beat by a wr. doesnt matter either way, we both seem to agree on what matters and that is the fact that franklin is a di**.

One of the dumbest arguments the negavols have ever come up with..

a WR did not beat us.. KY's defense beat us, that WR didn't really do much of anything and scored 10 points, we just happened to only score 7 because of injuries to our throwing core of players and we had 0 running game to back it up.

Not to mention that UK has played us very close the past couple of years. Took us to overtime 2 years ago (if memory serves me),,,and also the fact that UK was loaded with upperclassman. It was the perfect storm that hit UT - a QB recovering from a broken thumb - and running a high fever - playing against a motivated rival on their turf. Yes we got beat by a crappy UK team. The new streak against UK starts this year, and as long as CDD is here he will not forget the 2011 loss.

Franklin's eager public response shows that he either has some serious personal worth issues or he is extremely easy to "set up" or both. What he discussed behind closed doors with a recruit has no business ever seeing the light of day in any public forum. Classless...

The comments refering to both Ole Miss and UT are clearly the bi-product of "little brother syndrome". He is not Rob Ryan and his comments will come back to bulletin boards everwhere next fall. Humility is a good place to be when you are the head coach for a perenial "home coming" team.

im not a negavol, read further back, the guy i was talking to was bashing vandy for losing their last two games to qbs that were coming off of injuries and i said well we cant talk trash on that one since the last one we got beat by wasnt even a qb. no his play didnt beat us but as we all know, whether fair or not when a team beats another one most of the time the qb is regarded as the one who is the winner. thats why they keep records of qbs win/loss record and not defensive lineman. i wasnt saying that their qb beat us it just looks horrible and makes it seem much worse.

We will see how much running of the mouth he does this upcoming season. Franklin and vandy had a ok year for a vandy team but this year there defense is gone and they will suck again. Franklin knows this so he is trying to get all the publicity he can before the season starts. He is a peice of sh-t that is going to let his mouth write checks his a-s cant cash
