Probably not this year 9 games will be over by the time he is healed -

They might want to consider medical RS if he's eligible. I think they can see how he progresses and decide later.

Of course if UGA does that then does Eason xfer? Interesting situation.

That's way better than it tore. If Fromm is as good as they say does Eason see the field again?

Playing well v.s Appy. St. and repeating that against SEC competition are very different. However, we'll probably find out by next week when they go on the road to play Notre Dame.

I hate for anyone to get hurt. On ATL radio Buck Beleu has given me the impression for a while that he is not happy with Eason, and that Fromm is the real deal. May be a good thing for UGA.

This is the local bias thing IMO from Buck. Eason from Washington state, Fromm is a local GA high school kid. Eason is better by far IMO.

Fromm is from Warner Robins where I live... not the BEST competition, but he's an awesome QB. I've said before the season started that he'd win the starting job over Eason.

You don't pass over talent like Eason. We've seen flashes of greatness his freshman year. He'll have the reins as soon as he's healthy unless they redshirt him. At that point he'll have the starting job 2018 100%.

Eason reminds me a lot of Bray . All the arm talent but no football IQ . west coast quarterbacks just don't work well in the SEC

Out for undisclosed amount of time and is week to week with sprained ligament in his knee. Anyone know how long that takes no surgery required..

Have had that before. It depends on the individual and severity, but could be a couple of weeks or longer. Problem is you don't want to aggravate it during the recovery period or it prolongs the healing.

Regardless the backup Fromm is a much better QB

Eason 5 star coming out of high school, prototype height at 6'5", ranked #7 overall player nationally, started every game as a freshman QB at UGA for 2016 and started ahead of Fromm to open the 2017 season.

Fromm 4 star, 6'2" Gatorade player of the year for state of Georgia, one of the top ten QBs in his class.

You obviously know more than the recruiting services and UGA coaching staff ace.
