The only way you can doubt the power of a ski rope is if you've never been on a boat, skiing, and had stupid things happen. A ski rope is a dangerous weapon.

the world would have changed if he had signed Fields. But you get my actual point. UGA is just fine at quarterback.
I doubt it. Butch's world wouldn't have changed much at all. He had more than proven after last year he didn't get anywhere close to all the talent out of the kids he recruited. Fields would have come here and if he were a 10, Butch would've gotten 6.5 out of him. He came nowhere close to getting all the talent out of Dobbs who was recruited nowhere near the level Fields was.

Mike Bobo wasn't any good. There was one year they started Joe Cox ('09 maybe?), he wasn't any good either.

I’ll allow Cox not being good (very streaky though), but Mike Bobo was very successful. There just happened to be this other really good guy in the SEC at the time.

95 they even started Hines Ward...The one year they didn't have a good qb.

They never had a Worley, JG, Dormandy, Simms or AJ Suggs.

I don't even agree with this. In 2006, they started a guy named Joe Tereshinski III for half the season until he was replaced by Matthew Stafford. Tereshinski played against us and he was terrible. He was 12-20 for about 160 yards with 2 interceptions. We beat them 51-33 in Athens. He was every bit as bad as Dormady or Suggs (who were also replaced at mid-season).

...and I still don't think that Bobo was any good.

Ok........one compared to many. Tereshinski was replaced by someone good.

Joe Cox was bad too
8-5 for 1 yr, and 25 td's.

I never said their qb's since the early 90's have been Heisman contenders, just pretty darn good compared to other teams. Go back and look at their qb's. Pretty impressive.
Guess it shows Richt wasn't a great coach after all.

Hutson Mason and Greyson Lambert were both average. How Lambert caught fire in that USC game I'll never know.

Ok.....None of the UGA qb's have been any good. All avg to bad.
