I think his family recently moved from overseas so he is below the radar. I know most recruiting site haven't evaluated him yet. He is an absolute monster in size and speed though for a high school kid. Thig described him as the best linebacker he had evaluated this cycle. With our space issues him being an immediate take should tell you he's pretty good.

Size yes - speed not so much.

He's been in the USA 4 months. Hes a rising star supposedly.

So we have been told.

And we have been told that there has been a cultural change within UT Football. I will believe each when I see it with my own two eyes.

Maybe the kid will be all world or maybe he is a project or somewhere in the middle. Heck maybe they are thinking of him as a DE. We shall see.

I think CBJ and staff are doing incredibly well in recruiting in no small part due to a legacy class. However I do not subscribe to the theory that every recruit we have is gold because well our staff thinks highly of them. Cant wait til signing day and wish there was an early signing period.

What will be really intriguing is whether next year's class will come anywhere close to the ranking of this class. That will be the litmus test. Oh and whether CBJ and comp can actually coach a lick.

We really have no choice but to trust the staff in this. Remember. That terrible receiver, #87, last night was a 2* recruit. Has more catches than any SEC rcvr in history. Wow.

I do not subscribe to the theory of trusting in staff because well they are our staff and well they think the kid can play. Isn't there a tight end or two here that CBJ and staff thought were underated from last year's class????

Kid will be sick coming off the edge. Hope he doesn't play LB, I see the kind of DE that Overstreet and Shaun Ellis were.

don't matter who commits if the coaching is below sec quality. only 2 players i can see being bad to the bone no matter the coach are the berry boys.

Maybe a little off on the second sentence. But the first sentence was spot on

Texas Tech was not real happy with losing him. Also thought it was nice to read one of them say our DL haul is scary:good!:

EDIT: Guess linking Sc*ut is a no no :|

If I were you, I'd claim this was one gigantic typo, or a result of auto-correct.

"Sorry guys, I meant to say "heck yeah!", but auto correct changed it to the abomination of an opinion that you see above."
