DIdn't he fumble the ball out of bounds? Looked like a coach on the sideline hollered "Hold on to the damn ball!"
We were very fortunate on that front yesterday. How many fumbles were there for us in the game? 4?

i was surprised they put him back in the game late 4th qtr and ran him after another fumble. I’m glad they did though, it sounds like he’s going through some confidence issues.

What was the deal in the 4th qtr around the 5min remaining mark where he looked mad jerking away from the coach? Didn’t see what happened.
He fumbled the ball. Luckily it was out of bounds. Not the first time he has put the ball on the ground this year. The coaches didn’t want to risk the chance of TOs imo. That is why Small came in and finished the game.

He came back in after the fumble. 3rd and 8 and he puts his foot in the ground cuts outside and picks up 1st down. The lsu guy was laying on him and looked liked he got pissed.

Did anyone notice at one point in the game the camera kept following Jaylen Wright on the sidelines after he was taken out. He seemed like he was very frustrated walking around on the sidelines. He finished with:

12 Carries
59 Yards
4.9 Average
1 Fumble

I honestly think he is the most talented running back on the team. Do you think he is getting frustrated with the lack of playing time?

I asked the same question on another thread and the answer I got was that he fumbled it out of bounds. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah Small got some tough yards, had a couple big runs, and does really well in pass pro. If wright could hang on to the ball better, he can be really good. Small is Mr dependable

I agree and small holds on to the ball. wright already has 3 fumbles on the year. If wright can figure ball security out I can see him taking over.
