^This! One of the toughest things that can happen to a player is to be a #1 pick, yes the $$ are great, but you get thrown to the wolves immediately and you better produce or else!
Much better if you can have a season or 3 to learn and develop, JMO!

I don't know how he was in school, but if he had decided before the semester that it was his last, he probably didn't do much of anything in school. My assumption is that his grades would have made the call for him.

As a Skins fan, you want Tiny blocking for your QB next year at left tackle? With all his inabilities to stay set till the snap? As a Giant fan, I would love to see the Skins draft him!

Hey genius. We already have a left
tackle. His name is Trent Williams and we picked him over Eric Berry

Don't think that decision is much to crow about either. Oh well. Sucks to be you.

They are both Pro Bowl players and eventual HOFers

Its actually great to be me, but thanks for the concern tho. Ill be sure to think of you while lounging on my boat this weekend on Lake Lanier

Wow, calling Trent Williams a HOF after 4 years and 2 pro bowls?

Nice way to wrap up being belligerent with a "I'll be on my boat this weekend". I'm surprised you didn't start dropping lines about sipping 50 y/o Chivas with your ex-supermodel wife.

You buy a Ferrari when you want to be somebody. You own a Lamborghini when you are somebody. Step your game up

But its cool, your motif is to make fun of college kids who enter professional sports early. Thats all your posts consist of. Its like you are jealous of young guys making money.

you don't get rich on your 1st contract in the NFL anyway...you get rich on the 2nd and sometimes 3rd... those $50-60 million dollar contracts for rookies are over...4 years $24 million for the #1 pick this year,$15 in signing bonus...8.5 in salary

I hear this so often by commentators and forum posters that I just have to comment. $15 million does make you rich. Yes, I know, you have higher earning potential on your second contract, which is what people really mean when they say that. That's beside the point, though. If you have a chance to get a life-changing amount of money right now, you might well make the rational choice that you would rather do that than roll the dice and get potentially much more in a year. It's simple economics: the marginal utility of each additional dollar that you might get later is much lower than the marginal utility of your first few million dollars.

yes,$15 million does...but the only one getting that is Jadeveon Clowney...a 2nd,3rd or 4th rd pick, like Tiny is projected, won't get close to that...1/10th perhaps...that is not life changing money... now if he does well, that 2nd contract could very well be more than Clowney and will be life changing... I agree with Tiny leaving early BTW... I was just showing the old Sam Bradford $60 million dollar rookie contracts were over, they are more NBA style rookie contracts now...they are capped and slotted...

Lambos have no relaibility and are not worth the print.

As for being jealous of those that make money; I laugh wholeheartedly. I make more than enough and if someone makes more than me, good for them!

But the real issue here is that a 21 year old kid without a collefge degree that has one shot to make big bucks, should take his best shot. If that is showing scouts how you can play at 65% and then going pro, good for him. I have a feeling he won't cover what he and his family needs are in a very short time. Such is their life.

this is it in a nutshell...you only get so many bullets, don't leave them unfired...take a shot,it wasn't going to do any good if he waited a year, marginally better money at most...

And on your last point:

Any Redskins fan that supports such a racist team has no leg to sttand on to say anyone else is making fun of college kids. Your racist named NFL team is in fact abusing the college kids by making them wear a racist uniform and logo each time they step on the field.

I say the NFL force Snyder to sell the team to the local Washington area NAACP chapter.

Nothing any more racist about "Redskins" than about Cowboys, Indians, Braves, Hoosiers, etc. Maybe the animal rights folks should protest the use of animals as mascots too?

Good grief... The PC stupidity just won't quit.

an Indian logo isn't racist... now a Casino with an Indian drinking firewater on the helmet and still calling themselves the Redskins, then you have a point...

I still think someone will get a steal in Zach Fulton...

Agree 100%. Fulton fits that 1-2 year project player, the one a team drafts specifically to replace a veteran nearing the end of his career. By Zach's 2nd-3rd season in the league, he'll be ready to contribute.

All I am going to say is the math skills in this thread leave a lot to be desired, not going to point out specifics because I am not out to embarass anyone like the trolls do on this site.
