I thought it was interesting that he said that before he got injured... he had stopped smoking the stuff.... actually for a long time he said...... 6 months!?!

Maybe it was some of that "medical" marijuana I've been hearing about. :bs:

At least Ricky Williams was smart enough to hide it until he had made some money. I really hope Banks can get straightened out before he completely throws his talent away.

That had to be the most absurd thing I have ever heard. If you can stop whenever you want, and you knew they were going to test, why didn't you stop? I was glad to read that he is being a man about it, and not blaming anyone else (ie: Tennessee). I just hope he gets his act together.

If you see me getting mighty
If you see me getting "high"
Knock me down...

Song and Artist? The UT student station played this song on the day Reggie Cobb was kicked off the team for James Banks like behavior.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Knock Me Down

You win the prize, a bronzed set of hemostats ;)

I swear I'll never forget that day - I hated to see Reggie go. The Cobb-Webb would have been amazing but both guys made some bad choices.

On the otherhand, I wasn't also making Einstein-like decisions when I was in college (or now for that matter :p )

I think it was that UCLA game where we got a glimpse of both of them. I think by the time Reggie got booted, one of them had 400+ yards and the other had 600+.

another 250 rushing in the cotton bowl this year, please. :pepper:

i still liked the days with garner, stewart and hayden better than the cobbwebb days. except for the little man fumble against bama on the goal line. it still hurts.

I thik we should send him out to throw in with Ricky Williams. Sounds like they enjoy the same types of recreation. Did anyone watch the 60 minuates special? What a sad, wierd guy. :bad:

Hmmmm. A big-time dope-smoker strange? Interesting. . .

I seem to recall a few college acquaintances who also enjoyed smoking weed that turned out a little odd themselves. I wonder if there could possibly be any association?

It funny atheletes try to put the blame on them smoking weed, they just refuse to realize it was them, not the weed. Its just the easy way out.

You would be suprised if you were to find out how many atheletes toked up
