Because it's praised as some great movie when it's not.

It's a movie with outstanding special effects but a cliched story that's been told 1,000 times, one dimensional characters that are also as cliched as it gets, and acting that's slightly above what you see every Saturday night on SyFy.

All in all it's a turd with great special effects.

They should turn the plot around and break all the rules going full retard by having the aliens hop in the tanning beds to control the body's of humans.
