I give him the amount of credit that one should get for for beating one of the worst Tennessee teams in program history. Franklin also beat the 2012 Auburn team. How much credit should we extend to Franklin for pulling off that spectacular feat?

He won. He had a good season.
He took a clearly inferior team and whipped my alma mater.
I am not going to make excuses. He won. I'll give him his due.
I am not a fan of Franklin. I am completely indifferent to him and Vandy. I just don't understand all the irrational hate on this board for him.
Ole Miss & UNC State are the only teams that I can remember that made bowl games, after Vandy beat them.
Seems to me that Vandy is beating up on lesser teams.
They lost to USC, NorthWestern, Florida, UGA, and all of those teams had winning seasons and bowl games.
Presbyterian, Missouri, Auburn, U. Mass, kentucky, ole Miss & Wake Forest aren't exactly quality wins.
I predict that in a year from now, Franklin will leave Vandy. He knows that his soft schedule will not last forever and once he starts to post losing seasons, it will be unlikely that he will get a better coaching job. So, if he wants a better job, such as Iowa, Arizona, etc, then he better leave Vandy on a high note and not leave on a losing season.
He has no class but he can coach and recruit, dont like him but he can coach.
