He is committed to South Florida right now but said that he is gonna take a hard look at UF and UT.

This is what he said about UT:

Tennessee -- "They just offered me too. I've liked Tennessee since I was little. I compare myself to someone named Donte Stallworth, who played receiver there for them. Their players usually leave with a degree and they have great tradition and a great football atmosphere. I've been talking to them a lot lately."

He is gonna plan an official visit to Knoxville.

It says that his junior year he had 7 catches for 161 yards and 3 touchdowns at a school in Miami. He is at a school in Tallahasee this year. 6'2", 195 lbs, 4.55 40 speed. His video was poor quality but looked like a fairly solid reciever. What stood out was his blocking ability was showcassed.

How is he the #32 WR on Rivals and 132 on Scout? Something seems a little off.

Also, 4.61 40 on Rivals and 4.55 on Scout? Doesn't seem very much like Donte Stallworth since he tried to compare himself to him.

Ah, the beauty of being scouted by more than one person from competing sites.

I have no idea who to trust as far as the internet sites go, but if Kiffin offered him, I think I can trust that Kiffin knows what's up with the kid.

Thats what I thought when I saw his internet ratings. But how about this. He is offered by USF, UT, UF, Arkansas, Auburn, UNC, and USCe.

Sounds like he's quite the dandy recruit.

I think when all else fails, this is a pretty good way to gauge the value of a potential recruit. See what schools have offered him scholarships and if it's a list like this one, he's obviously highly regarded.

Green is the nephew of former Florida State and NFL linebacker Lamont Green, and moved to Tallahassee with his uncle for his senior season. Has two friends from south Florida that committed together with him to USF. He was also interested in South Carolina. Makes you wonder if Reaves was the one recruiting him there.

Scheduled his last official with the Vols for the weekend of January 30th. Marlon Brown is scheduled for that weekend also. Green will be visiting Florida the prior weekend.

When he was asked who stood out for him in his current recruiting, he said that the Vols staff was the number one thing that stood out.

Good news.

if this is true that would be awesome especially with us looking pretty good with carrol and well atleast in the mix for brown.. i'm liking how kiffin is trying real hard to reel in some talented playmakers at the WR position, might finally put something on the field thats fun to watch.

I think recruits can call coaches, but coaches can not call or contact them. I heard that each coach on a team can make one call to a recruit durring the dead perion

thats how it worked when i was in high school the student could initiate the contact with the coach just not the other way around
