James Green

Chose us over South Florida, Syracuse, UCF, Auburn, Minnesota, Ole Miss, N.C. State, Ohio State, South Carolina
That's a respectable list. I thought it was the law that if Ohio State offered, you HAD to commit. Great pick up.

Just give it some time...ihateorange4 will be in here soon enough to tell us that his commitment to UT was actually a commitment to USCjr and Green is defintely a USCjr lock

So I noticed he was the #50 CB and checked to see who was above him

What the hell at OSU having 3 of the top 8 CBs? or 4 of the top 18?
He does have a pretty respectable offer list
UT
Auburn
SCar
Ole Miss
FSU

You can tell a lot about a recruit based on his list of offers. As for Ohio State, see post #46.

Ricardo Dixon is listed as #50 CB on Rivals, but #11 on ESPN and is in the Under Armour All-American game.

"Like I said, I have always liked Tennessee and when they made the coaching change I was watching things closely," Green explained. "When I saw it was coach Kiffin I was excited because of what he did when he was the offensive coordinator at Southern Cal. You look at what he did with guys like Mike Williams, Steve Smith, and Dwayne Jarrett and how can you not be excited to be a receiver in that offense."

I really like this guy. His 40 time doesn't show his real speed. I like the speed he has at his size and with his athleticism he'll be a monster for us. Definitely a big play guy for us next year. Watching him I actually like him a bit more than Marlon Brown. Making plays against a lot better competition. Shows excellent quickness for a player his size.

ESPN states that Green is "best friends" with Under Armour All-American CB Ricardo Dixon who is committed to S. Florida, but is still considering other offers. Dixon also had Tenn. in his top 5 before comitting to USF.

I don't like him better than Marlon Brown, but I do like this kid. I think he'll be a great possession guy with spectacular catching abilities. Anybody hear anything of Stokes?

I'm just grading the two on the competition that they are making plays against. He also gets up to speed quickly for a big receiver.

That would be sweet! lets land them first tho. Maybe he can help Kif sway some of the other recruits. we need all we can get!

could we be on our way back to WR U? That would be amazing.

You are correct...it would be amazing to make it back to wide receiver "U" status with a 3* kid ranked around #70 at his position...maybe we should get a Randall Carroll caliber player before we...nvm.

Or maybe, we should just see how these guys perform on the field before we make any type of claim.
