He absolutely should. Nico had a great game but it was only a decent game for the position. Pearce had an absolutely monster game and influenced the outcome.

With another year of added strength, he will continue to improve against the run. We will line him up all over the place next year and because we have depth will be able to keep him fresh. Enjoy him for one more year, because he has NFL talent.

Our defensive line next year is very deep. We are 3 deep across the DL. I think the coaches were fine with Baron leaving due to Tyre West, Dominic Bailey and Tyree Weathersby who redshirted this year at SDE. At Leo, look for Joshua Josephs and Caleb Herring to make another leap next year, plus Jordan Ross may be in the rotation from Day 1 as a frosh.
