so this feeling we all felt when he came in for the first time and looks like the player we expected...this is the feeling you guys have every year with about 3 or 4 guys?

not fair

Yeah, other than teague. What I wouldn't give to have a kid like Aaron Craft or even a kid like Tinsley from Candy. Just a floor general who drops more dimes than turnovers.

sorry, not hijacking this thread to talk UK hoops.

your fine it is nice to have an outsiders input because they dont have a fight in the dog. your not calling for tatum at pg and golden to waterboy. yea teague was probably the guy i was least impressed with, lamb somewhat dissapeared as well but thats because we were throwing different people at him and chasing him on his hip everywhere he went.

his attitude and personality remind me alot of tobias harris' which is definitely someone you want to emulate. they both have very strong faith in god, and have a work ethic that is unprecidented. he is going to be a great ambassador for the university in the future.

Why Everyone think stokes will leave so fast.?

because when you are guaranteed a lottery pick and see millions of dollars sitting in front of you most people run to it. now all people dont so thre is alway hope, and he seems like he comes from a pretty good feeling so you never know.

Let's not jump the gun on this. Stokes looked good today and obviously has the ability to be a future NBA pick. However, he still has alot to work on to become a lottery pick. With his work ethic, I'm sure he'll get there. I guess I'm just having wishful thinking that it will take him a few years to develop into a lottery pick.....

its kind of a catch 22 i suppose, we want him to develop slow so that he doesnt leave but at the same time we want him to play like he did today because were that much better.

I know I'm jumping the gun here, but could Stokes be eligible for the draft or do we have him at least until next year since he was a mid term enrollee? I don't think he will try to, but ya never know. After his performance today against a quality opponent he definitely won't stick around all 4 years, imo.

No. NBA can not touch him until 1 years after his HS class graduates.

I think we can work with what we him. Maymon and stokes were near unstoppable when down low together, they are going to demand double teams, if our 3 balls are falling watch out gotta make them pay for doubling down.

That will be Ky's downfall in the tourney this year in my opinion. You have to have great guard play in the tourney and Teague is no Wall or Knight. He could get better, but I don't see it this year. Good news for you though is that he'll probably be there more than 1 year.

i think if uk faces a team that can control tempo, take care of the ball and has a good big man theyll be in trouble. i feel like if davis is shut down they are screwed, i would love to see him and drummond match up that would be a battle for the ages.

as far as teague he seems like somewhat of a block head, i dont know him or anything just kind of get the attitude vibe from him. he is projected to go top 20, and 5 in all to go top 20 and 6 players drafted total. unbelievable.

I think I heard someone say, or maybe it was him himself say that he was a multiple year player, and planed to play more than just a year or two. Time will tell, but after seeing him play yesterday I'm so excited he's here, and really do hope he'll give us at least 2.5 yrs!

His game is so dynamic. He can do such a wide range of things with and without the ball. I am so excited to see him work into getting a lot of minutes. Stokes is a special player and the sky is no limit for him! Go Vols!!!
