No one wants to notice the obvious. The kid was playing with a broken wrist. And everyone wants to bash him for gutting it out throughout the injury to try to help this team win.
Yep...and the thing about it is, he has a huge advantage over other WR's...in terms of competing for playing time. And definitely an advantage over most DB's he'll face. That is a size advantage. Can't coach that. Can't "watch the tape on work like heck...on it." He's the tallest pass-catcher we have, aside from Quinn, the TE.This. Croom isn't the only player to ever get criticized and he wont be the last. Very solid game for Croom today.
I understand someone starting this thread after the bashing Croom took after the OU game, but I'll make the same point now as I did then. Sometimes players have bad games and sometimes players have good games. That's true of even the best players, they just have more good games than bad. Kudos to Jason Croom on a good day.
I would like to apologize to him though for Bob Kesling being a complete failure at his job and calling him "Justin" Croom on more than one occasion. Really Bob? The least you could do is actually learn the names of our players.
