I don't really know much about NFL salaries these days, but is $10 mil guaranteed "normal" NFL money after a 19 catch season?

He is a complete football player. I am so happy he stayed after Butchy boy lied to him. If I were a coach, I’d want 20 players like Jennings on my team. We would win more than we lost. Plays with his heart and loves the game. Not many players left nowadays like Mr. Jennings.

Is Tabor still in the NFL? JJ beat him in 2016. And beat him in the pros, I think.

Not that I am the kind of guy who keeps receipts.
No he is not. The 49ers actually brought him in I believe in Jauan’s first training camp. Didn’t make the team.

I’m not sure there’s ever been a guy in the going into his final year in the SEC who got more hype, talked more trash, and did so little as Tabor. Jennings absolutely destroyed that man’s life.

The IRS, state of California and city of San Francisco will get about $7M of it. :-(
Not that much, but probably half. And then the agent fees and whatnot. If he is wise with his money, he will be fine though. And if he can stay healthy, his pension will continue to grow cause I’d say he has several years left in him.

What do you mean what ? He is clearly a dawg. My opinion is that he doesn't miss games and shines when given the opportunity. Mind you that big time players rise to the occasion when the stage is the biggest. Remind me again the top performer in the SB ? Oh yeah it was JJ.

Needs more targets. Deebo can't stay healthy and I'm not convince with the same touches JJ isn't better
This is a statement by the Niners to Deebo and Aiyuk... sign or get replaced.. they drafted Pearsall end of the first and tendered JJ, now this.. Samuels and AIyuk are both on expiring contracts and the Niners have to sign Purdy soon too. JJ and Pearsall will get the opportunity to prove themselves. It's gonna be fun watching the Niners this season and see how it plays out.

No doubt he comes to play. Never said anything contrary to him being a "dawg". Claiming he is better than Deebo is silly. Yeah, Jennings had a great performance in the SB. All of that is true

How do you know he isn't with the same touches ? He sure has out performed the high paid guy when it mattered most

According to AP, Juan Jennings has filed papers in San Francisco to change his legal name to:

Silly question and it was one game. Are you saying he's good enough to be WR1 in the league? He signed the deal knowing it's WR3 money. I would say Jennings is much smarter than you about it.

Im saying that being healthy and able to make the plays in a big moment like he did in the SB yes I think he has the ability to be WR1 for the 49ers. Does the franchise think that ? We will see what happens. JJ isn't the fastest flashy wr. However he has size, very good hands and he is clutch when the pressure is on. I don't believe Deebo is a bad guy and yes he has talent but health and percentage of games played imo should be a metric of how a guy is looked at. You can be the most talented guy in the league but what is your true value if you can't stay healthy ?

I'm a big fan of JJ. I'm also a die hard Niner fan.

In games where Deebo was out and JJ picked up his minutes, it wasn't close.

JJ brings a LOT with his toughness, blocking, and dirty work. But he's not beating DB1s and 2s consistently or destroying defenses with his open field running. It's just not the same skill level or skill set.

Poor guy actually had to wait to prove himself in the NFL before becoming rich, unlike today's college athletes. 🤣
