My friend retweeted this. I don't follow him so I don't know if he's joking or not. Does anyone have some context?

I have just moved Tennessee to my first four out. The Vols had a bad practice today.

I would love for us to make the tourney but I am not excited as a # 16 seed to play a #1 seed. How ugly would a game be if we played Duke in the first round??

It would likely be a one and done and we might even lose by a large margin. Some of those #1 vs. #16's get ugly....

There's no way we or any other power-6 conference school would ever get a 16 seed. 12 is likely the lowest, 13 is pushing it.

I just wanted to know what he was referencing. I didn't know if like Jarnell or Jordan tore an ACL or something bad like that during practice. Just seeing if anyone had heard anything.

It was a joke. I think we were the butt of it because we are Lunardi's last team in. He would have said that about whatever school would be in that position if we weren't.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You're generally not wrong.
But, last year, the the BYU/Iona play-in game would have been for a 12, but circumstances led to the Committee decided to downgrade their game to a 14.

One second reading some of his mentions would tell you that it is a joke. A guy right below his tweet tweeted @ him that he'd removed Oregon because he didn't like their uni's.

Get a clue.

Ok, You are correct. However; according to the PREDICTIONS, we are a #13 in the South and will play T.O.S.U. (The Ohio State University) and Mr. Aaron Craft.

So, that game could also get ugly!!!!!!

alot of you are saying correctly, this is a joke. However, this joke has alot of truth to it. what he is saying is that the bubble race is so close right now there really isn't anything seperating the last four in from the first four out.

Gotcha. Yeah, so maybe it can stretch all the way to 14. But I don't recall ever seeing a big school with a 15/16 seed, right?

Bet the Ohio state university wouldn't be happy seeing us for their first game . I know I wouldn't anyways.
