Honestly anyone who doesnt know that's a joke has no sense of humor...he is very obviously making fun of the daily hand wringing that goes on about the current state of who's in/who's out

^Agreed. And he is right to do so. Who gives a **** if we are in right now? What matters is if we are in a week from Sunday.

He's joking. He's probably referring to how many teams are going in and out of the First four in and first four out

He is also making a joke about the absurd notion of people (Joe Lunardi, et al) announcing who is in or out on a seemingly every-minute basis ten days before selection Sunday.

Ok, You are correct. However; according to the PREDICTIONS, we are a #13 in the South and will play T.O.S.U. (The Ohio State University) and Mr. Aaron Craft.

So, that game could also get ugly!!!!!!

Snitches get stitches. Nobody likes a narc.

As of now we're projected in.

Aren't we also projected to lose to Missouri?

So if we're going by projections, no, we'll not get in.

Obviously we can beat Missouri but doesn't it put an end to us getting in with a loss? I have a sick feeling we'll lose and be left out. Other than an SEC tourney run. The worst part about that is we're one of the first four in and aren't three other SEC teams in the first four out? They're all going to be hungry knowing they're knocking on the door. A couple tourney wins and they're in. So, we'll get to deal with that.

Uh, everyone does, man. Hence all the threads about it.

It's nice to know where we stand at each moment of every day, so we can know what is at stake for each game. Adds to the excitement. Obviously, if we are in right now, but lose to Mizz and don't make the tourney, none of that will matter. But it matters today.

I wasn't trying to be a smarta$$, simply saying as of now we're in, that's all we've got to go off really.

As for Missouri game, some seem to think UT will actually be favored, line hasn't come out yet so not sure, it should be close either way.

As for a loss being it, no that's not true. If we lose to Missouri we just HAVE to win at least 2 in the SECT, and probably 3.

Not really.

I mean, I have no problem discussing it. It was not an attempt to cut down everyone talking about it, because it's not like I've stayed out of these discussions. I enjoy talking about it and will continue to do so. But when you take a step back and look at the whole thing, it doesn't matter where we are right now. It matters what we do against Missouri and in the SECT so we can then see where we are.

A tournament committee evaluates the whole season. So I ask again, who cares if we are in right now? It's meaningless.
