Maybe Gruden has been endorsing Jay this whole time. Even helping assemble a staff and maybe volunteer himself ALOT......

Jon is the man, Jay would be pretty cool too, I guess.

Jon would be a homerun hire.
Jay would be a great hire with potential for homerun in the future depending on staff.

Because his brother hired him at a SB team and he played well in Arena Ball....

Is it at the stage where any Gruden will do now?

I'd rather have Patterson or Strong.

If Grudenites start spinning Jay as our best option outside of Jon then their objectivity will have gone the way of Sal's defense.

I posted this is the big thread but without confirmation or denial. I think the answer is key to what is going on with John Gruden.

Did John recommend LaneK to Hammy when he was rumored to be hired here to replace Fulmer???


I am nearly certain he did and I think that's exactly what is happening here with his brother

Current OC for the 4-5 Cincinnati bengals.

Who are 15th in pts and 17th in yards.
26th in rushing.

Other than the last name Gruden this is a let down. IMO. Way better proven and vetted CFB coaches out there to make offers to.
