a bigger bowl what? Would the embarassment have been the same? NO it would have been worse. I have read post about fulmer from your fans here on vol-nation and they said they have broke bread with major's family and he said he thought it was wrong how fulmer got his job. I hope i not wrong by saying that but i almost postitive that is what i read. You need to worry about Georgia because they are going to wipe the floor with you , get ready for it. Tenn is no longer even thought of a power in SEC anymore its georgia and lsu and as bad i hate to say it even florida will rise this year and thus more to say tennessee will fall even further. I know that Bama will probably not be in the picture but at least i can face that, you can't. the mighty VOls are on a steady \

I hope this year we do kiss your ass on that third saturday in October but i do keep up with all football not just UT and BAMA and i know we will probably lose this year just on account of sure numbers. We are off probation now and our numbers will climb and then yes we will be back on top. If you have noticed ever since your 1998 national championship run you team has slowly been a downhill slide no one can deny that. Yes you had 10-3 season last year but so what like i said you got embarresed by CLEMSON. Get a reality check VOl fans , the mighty VOLS aren''t so mighty....................... roll tide

I find it simply AMAZING that someone who cannot spell or type or has even a child's grasp of the English language would dare to comment on someone else's lack of class. I never claimed to be classy anyway. THIS is a VOL board. We don't have to put up with your crap, bamahills. Alabama SUCKS!!! Sucks worse than ANY team in the UNIVERSE!! And you know it!!! The NCAA knows it!! ESPN knows it!! You are just another example of why Bama is so hated by everyone except Bama fans. You come on here like a chicken "pretending" to be Vol-friendly, then when we don't agree with your assessment of our coach and team, you proceed to act EXACTLY like what you accuse us of being. I am ashamed to know you live in Tennessee. This beautiful state deserves better.

Just a note - "his self" is really not the *classy* way to refer to another person.

YOU are a liar. I NEVER thought Bama would beat us. I knew Coach Fulmer would outcoach Mike Shula because Shula does not belong in the big leagues. He is a nice guy, but he just doesn't have what it takes. When is Bama ever going to say... "You know, we were wrong and we are sorry."? I could have a WHOLE lot more respect for a program that would take responsibility for what they have done than one that wants to whine about being found out.

I officially resign from my pissy ways. Sorry to anyone in the room I may have offened.....yes you too Bamahills. i'm just here to talk football like most others. i come across at times here sounding like its my job to attack people. I know they wouldnt have made it to the music city bowl. it was all just to point out certain things. i sport my T proudly no matter who dislikes it. therefore, i will smile and bite my orange lip. go vols.....action speaks louder. :) e.g. 4th and 19 lol....but for real....dont mean to sound like an ass sometimes

As i do pull for alabama with all my heart. 4th and 19 yes we did loose it, but like I said we only had one string of defense with very little depth
and they were tired. They did all they could do agianst a full strength team. But should a full strength team even been in that situation is what you have to ask yourself? Either way it was a good game and i did enjoy it follies and all. I could only hope for a game just like it next year but maybe a diffrent outcome. ROll TIDE. Maybe we should squash the cutdowns and lowblows about each other programs maybe alllowing one or two. That's just the way it is between UT and BAMA and it will probably always be like that. I do love football in every shape , form, and fashion. I am a fan year yound and without the VOls we wouldn't have the rivarly that we do so in that aspect i am glad the vols are around.
