Okay. During our game prep next year, will the Vols be preparing for red team 1 and red team 2, or will they be allowed to say the word Alabama since they lost two in a row? Is Oklahoma the new real red team? I'm so confused. If red team two beats red team 1 by 14 at a neutral site, and red team 1 beat us by ..... I give up. I'm just glad Butch gets it, because we may lose by 50 but he will know what to call them so we won't be caught up in the mystique of greatness.

I sure hope we can schedule FSU, UCLA, Stanford, and Michigan state very soon. Our schedule is weak, and we need to add some decent teams. Screw this OOC SCHEDULING that has taken place year in and year out.

Unfortunately I agree.

Hopefully it will pay off in 2015 or 2016. The big game experience our younger players get has to be valuable.

We've sucked lately, so they are right. The media needs the conference debate/sparring to keep the hype -> ratings -> cash flow.

The Ad that scheduled it was Hammy. He is not only a plague on this team but a plague on our future. We should remember him well...so we never have to deal with the likes of him in the future. BTW Hart rocks!

Great logic. You would rather us get embarassed by a good team, then schedule a given win, thus allowing us to be bowl eligible. Love the way you think Mr Hamilton.

I like playing good ooc teams. Cant wait till we're back to beating em.

As far as bama goes...around the bowl down the hole.

Exactly. We play the big boys week in and week out. Nobody complained about Florida's cupcake OOC schedule when they were winning 13 games a year because they still played tough sec games. Ohio St. plays cupcakes right up to their bowl game every year.

I have no problem playing the little sisters of the poor if I know I'm looking down the barrel at GA, Fl, Al, SC, AU, and VU.

The whole "I want to play the toughest schedule in the country" thing is crazy to me. Nobody wants to see UT vs. Maryville college but then they want to cry when we don't make a bowl game. At this point in our program we can't hang with OU and ORE. If we win that ORE (or whoever if could've been) game we have some momentum in recruiting, maybe even snag Lambert away from AU, but why would he pick a 5-7 UT team over a team in the national championship game? 7-6 looks better than 5-7 to these high school kids or anybody else for that matter.

we should set up a bucket at the door for those 2/3 to put their UT fan card in on their way out. NO UT fan should ever pull for Bama to win anything. Ever.

The SEC schedule is tough enough without scheduling these type games. Right now they're pretty much a guess how much we get beat by deal. Sucks really..

nine months from now, that Oklahoma team may look entirely different! They could have heavy losses on the roster, due to graduation.

Wouldn't that be odd, if we were to buy out the Oklahoma game, and end up playing them next season in a bowl game! Sorta like we did with UNC!!!!!

Hamilton was a walking disaster!!!!!!!
