SUPPOSEDLY it'll be after the IU game NEXT week. Still mixed reports if it's true or not....Brohm is suppose to hold a press conference today around 5 to discuss the rumors.

Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm said any reports connecting his name and the Louisville opening are "completely false" and when asked about Dan Dakich's tweet/reporting from earlier today, the Boilermakers second-year coach said "there's nothing to that".

Brohm did say tonight following his team's practice that he's been forced to address the issue with his team and that "his door is always open" to the current members of his Purdue roster wanting to ask him questions.

Why leave Purdue for a dumpster fire like UL?

He’d have to compete with Clemson every year.

Purdue is the better job but the family/alma mater connection is the one thing that could make him leave.

Like he has to compete with Michigan, tOSU and Penn State now?

All those 3 are in the B1G East....in the West your best competition is Nebraska, Iowa and Wisconsin. Factor that in if you DO make the B1G Championship game it's played in your backyard in Indy

And Purdue will get rolled by whoever wins the East, assuming Purdue wins their own division instead of juggernaut Northwestern.

And Louisville has to get past Clemson & FSU (when they get back on track) just to reach the conference championship game. Factor in the BTN money and I think Purdue and the B1G is a much better job.

Right now it’s just Clemson and no one else.

The longer Taggart stays at FSU, the easier it will be for Brohm to get Louisville back on track.

And it’s his alma mater.

It's UL. Similar to UK, if they can just become a steady 8-10 win program their fans would be delirious.
