Now before i get blasted im still not willing to say we should fire jeff fisher. I just thought that it would be fun to think about who would be a good choice for his replacement.

my vote is that we go for jon gruden. not only would he bring excitment and he is a cool guy, but he knows his stuff and could take us to the top. plus he would get into camp and cut VY in a heart beat and acually go and get a real fing QB....

what are your alls thoughts?

You know, I've heard that Kiffin guy has a lot of potential. Look what he did with USC's offense in the mid-2000s

I'm more partial to a Bill Goldberg, Hulk Hogan co-head coaching situation as a hire

on a serious note, what makes you think Gruden will get you a real qb?

he's been at TB for years and has never had a real qb. Plus, why would he want to leave TB for Tennessee?

Should the Titans change coaches during/after this year (RIDICULOUSLY unlikely), I would look at Bill Cowher or Jon Gruden.

Just my two cents.

Gruden to the Titans is the worst idea I've seen on this message board. Sorry. There is nothing he has accomplished that truly impresses me. Plus, he went down in flames his last few years in Tampa. I'm not on board with this.

I'm still not ready to fire Fisher but if we are going to overreact than I nominate Cowher. I wouldn't mind promoting Dinger to the HC job, I think he could be a pretty good HC one day.

i like that people would fire fisher to hire pretty much the exact same coach as fisher

this isn't a blast at you at all or anything, but i just see it so often

Cowher has a ring. How exactly is he the same coach as Fisher?

he got 1 ring yeah, but what after 13 or so years of not getting one, being the "been employed too long by his team not to win a championship" coach

if fisher won a ring tomorrow, they'd be the exact same coach

seriously, even the playoff record was a losing before that SB run, and he even had the 1 super bowl appearance previously where he lost in a pretty close game

they're not really that different; which is why i'm baffled that people talk about him like he's a massive and different change
