Correct.

Trump encouraged Russia to intervene on his behalf. They did so. The campaign shared data with the Russians. The Russians expended serious capital and effort to help Trump win. Trump and his campaign welcomed it, fully aware the the Russians were helping him.

That it is technically not a crime doesn't make it ok or acceptable.
