Not going to lie, when the niners cut him after his first preseason I thought he was destined to be a practice squad type player his entire career. Other teams missed the boat by not taking a chance on him and letting him make his way to the 49ers practice squad. He slowly worked his way off the practice squad, on to the roster, and now a major contributor for a super bowl contender. He did it the hard way, the best is yet to come for him. He is just now reaching his ceiling (potential 1,000 yard WR). Proud He is a vol for life!

I sure miss having him on the field wearing the Orange. Happy to see him having a good year, and glad he hasn’t lost his fire and love for the game. One of my all time favorite Vols. I wish the Titans would sign him so I could see him play more often.

He has become Purdy's when you absolutely has to have a catch go to guy.
