Jeremy Pruitt's analysis of UT Alabama game

Summary for those who won’t click:

- Bryce playing tilts odds in Bama’s favor; no Bryce = toss up

- expects Alabama to put an extra man in the box to limit the running attack

- will mean a lot of pass plays in one on one matchups

- big factor in game is if refs call PIs

- game will ultimately come down to Tennessee’s defense ability to get stops in red zone
We’ve got to protect HH in the pocket and not allow the pressure to hurt us.

So, if Bryce Young can dun reel gud, them Alabama will dun reeel gud. If Bryce Young can't dun reel gud, then Tennessee will dun reel gud.

After the Georgia State game, I was ready to see his bags packed and the moving van loaded up with his family and furniture.
I remember foolishly thinking that Cornbread Pruitt had finally turned things around when Tennessee won 6 in a row to end 2019 only to have my hope crushed in 2020.

'16 (Jones)
'17 (Jones)
'18 (Pruitt)

First time since some time in the 1920's that TN lost to VU for 3 straight years (that whirring noise you heard was Coach Cafego spinning in his grave)

Even after the 3rd one in a row since "forever" I was willing to say "well.... a blind hog finds an acorn once in awhile"....

Then '19 gave us the GA St debacle to kick off the season

Knew Pruitt had no idea what he was doing, then, and knew fans were just going to have to suffer until the inevitable
