He just gave us mad props....best fans in the country.....famous Alumni including "The Sheriff" Peyton Manning...some of the greatest facilities in the country....Neyland Stadium being one of the best venues in the sport....biggest recruiting budget in the SEC....and finally that the Tennessee Head Coaching job is not just a great job but an ELITE JOB.

Very classy comments from a former Gator....and I thought former Gators and ESPN hated us?

Hmm, maybe they haven't heard about the NCAA investigation looming? That may make Auburn a little less attractive. Who would want to come in and potentially be slapped with sanctions when you had no part in the wrongdoing?

Isn't Urban Meyer fighting that after a flawless season at the O?

It's amazing how many Vol fans have either forgotten or just never realized how great our history and tradition is.

History to some of them is no more than five or six years ago, the gretest player ever to wear Orange is CP, and think Al Wilson is a R&B Singer.

He's still in awe of Deion Grants acrobatic one handed pic, when Jesse was expecting 6 and a Sport center moment. :)

I wouldn't want the Auburn job.

It is, in my opinion, the toughest job not named Vandy or UK in the SEC.

Our history and traditions are NOT what a prospective HC takes into consideration unfortunately.

Sadly, there's more reasons for a top HC to NOT come to UT then there are for him to come here and rebuild our footVol program.

Coaches are going to do what they think is in THEIR best interests for their continued coaching career and, for most, coaching in the always brutal SEC simply won't be in their best interests.

I just hope that AD Hart can get us a solid homerun hire that will excite top recruits around the country so we can rebuild faster.

VFL...GBO!!!

I know the majority of the fan base want Gruden as HC but The Vols may be better with a proven coach at the college level who is adept at recruiting, especially in the South. I believe Bob Stoops or Gary Patterson would do a better job year one than Gruden. Other coaches such as Briles from Baylor or Charlie Strong could pick right up recruiting players they have already been in contact with where Jon Gruden has to start fresh trying to build relationships with players and family. Even though he is from Bama, I believe Hart will get this one right.
