Kiffin tryed so hard to get that kid here and dude didn't give UT the time of day. Since Lane is at USC he bolts. Wonder how that relationship is behind closed doors.

How is he a victim?
QB's transfer every summer because of inability to crack the depth chart. We have had our fair share.
Kid wouldve had the starting job basically handed to him had he come here.

Please. Kid can't hold Tyler's jock. He would make a fine backup, tho, if he could beat out Worley and Peterman.

Bray was committed elsewhere when we were recruiting Scroggins so I think he is right we would have handed him the job

so glad we didnt and agree that he is not near the talent Bray is

It's interesting the difference in perception in this situation as opposed to 2-3 years ago. Not calling anyone out but people would have wet themselves at the time if Kiffin would have landed Scroggins. Now it's "could not hold Tyler's jock strap." Again not calling anyone, just an observation.

Where did I say he was better or would be out TB?

Chances are if he committed to UT CLK doesnt recruit TB therefore leaving Scroggins to compete with Simms. Therefore giving Scorggins the job. Would he stil have it or kept it, who knows? But he wouldve had a heckuva shot with that roster in 2010.

Kiffin made a run at Retting, Heaps, Hendrix, and Rees, too. Bray was something of a late bloomer and totally a fall back option for Kiffin. We got him by accident more than design.

Lakewood High School product had committed to USC over Florida, LSU, Nebraska and Tennessee and was touted for his potential and a strong cannon arm.

Despite Scroggins’ academic struggles, Kiffin says that Scroggins had “a very strong spring semester in the classroom” and is “academically eligible to transfer at this time.
