Jesse Scroggins leaving USC

To think we have fans who are gleeful to see a recruit who didn't pick the UT, bomb out or quit elsewhere is chilling. It lends justification to other programs and probably potential future recruits that the UT, like war isn't good for athletes and other living things. It may well be that other fanbases have protoplasmic pond scum that acts this way, that's their problem. But to see it here is dismaying. One can only wonder what lurking recruits and recruits' parent think when they see inhumane attitudes here.

You know, this kid could actually didn't want to play for Kiffin and thus went to USC, then ACK! Kiffin is at USC. OK, maybe tries to honor his recruiting agreement with the university. But just didn't like Kiffin's treating him the way he did Poole, or worse. The kid leaves, he might even consider coming to the UT despite our having three good QBs. But after reading the junk here he drops that idea. You guys making fun of him ever think that? No, not likely.

Could be other recruits we covet have seen yet another example of self-centered jerks and dropped the idea of ever coming to the UT as well. Said it before, will say it again, if I was an opposing coach, I'd take such stuff and put it on blown up posters. Put said posters in my hallway and point it out to visiting recruits and parents and ask if they really are considering Tennessee with people like that.

You guys who wished Jesse good, thanks, you're likely the only redeeming grace this board has.

I seem to remember VN being in full meltdown when he committed to USC....Amazing how people forget :yes:
