America lost her greatness because she didn't live up to the greatest man-made document ever penned, the Constitution of the USA. Especially the Bill of Rights. Instead, she let the slow rot of bigotry, hypocrisy, and arrogance make it meaningless. And now, to make it overtly evident, we have the Orange Ogre tearing down the last vestiges of the pretense known as, "In God we Trust."

Which pretty much the same thing when you take time to analyze the motivation of those very things you mention. They don't operate in a vacuum.
