Jets/Steelers AFC Championship Game thread

Postgame guys saying Ben won thus one when Manning and Brady couldn't. I'm sure the first half shut out didn't hurt his chances.

Roethlisraper is hard to root for, but Tomlin is hard as hell to root against. Dude is badass.

Big Ben is the man and for me, is very easy to root for. Steelers going to win another ring and will do it in Dallas. That's funny stuff. Go Steelers!

He's better than Charlie Batch. Break out the Hall of Fame blazer.

Has nothing to do with the fact that he wins and especially wins in the Playoffs. Granted, he has a great team surrounding him, but he wins.

He manages an offense that rarely relies on him to perform at even an average level. Not too tough to win when your D shuts the other team out for a half and scores a TD for you.

He "managed" a game winning 88 yard, 8 play drive in Super Bowl 43 with 2:30 minutes left that consisted of only one run, him scrambling for 4 yards. He had two incompletions on that drive, one of those being a perfect pass to Holmes in the endzone which Santonio failed to catch before the ultimate game winning catch on the next down.

IMO aside from the Rapelisberger stuff, he'll be remembered as the Troy aikman of this generation in that he is a good but not great qb with brilliant moments from time to time who happens to play on a dynasty type team.

The Cardinals were really fielding a stout defense, and without a 100 yard INT return from one of his defensive linemen that drive means jack squat.
