Warms my heart that he’s still able to take pride in the orange. He was put in a really tough spot smack in the middle of the darkest of the dark ages for us. Really cool of him to come back and take in a game.

I’ll never forget how Darnell completely neutralized Will Anderson in the Bama game 2 years ago. It’s a shame JG and AK couldn’t have played for this staff. AK ended up fine but who knows how JG could have benefited

JG is commendable. He gave his all to Tennessee, Butch Jones, and Jeremy Pruitt. I think a lot of his " sulking " was due to promised playing time. Glad he's back

Someone hugged Huepel on the field after the game that had a striking resemblance to Bru McCoy, but he wasn't in uniform.

Yup, I ridiculed his play as much as anyone but he took a beating at UT and always showed heart. No one can take that from him. He's a VFL in my lil book

JG only played his final year because Mauer took a worse beating and had to stop playing. Mauer was pretty darn good for not having a decent coach.

JG touched that sign and "Gave his all for TN" every game. That OL that he was behind was AWFUL. Nico could not complete a pass with as little time as JG had.

One interesting tidbit about that game. The name Darnell Wright was never mentioned one time on the broadcast. By the fourth quarter, Will Anderson had just completely given up.

I didn't think he played that great, however, I also thought he received more criticism than he deserved because he was having to throw on his back most of the time and/or running for his life. Oline was horrendous. Hard to be successful that way.
