I'm willing to bet you saw worse, they just weren't getting their brains scrambled 5x a game.
Good luck to him - but I haven't seen worse ..... granted at one time there were 4 or 5 qb's with equal or worse numbers statistically in the entire ncaa, but I didn't see them play.

He'd make a bundle on a shirt with a grass stains from SEC schools. Let's see:
Kentucky - Blue grass
Auburn - Kick Six grass
Bama - Bear-muda grass
Vanderbilt - Snobgrass
Georgia - Pollackmuck turf
Florida - Swamp grass with Sandspurriers
LSU - Miles tender turf (edible)

you get the picture. That boy hung on to the ball and got hammered enough to write a book on "grasses of the SEC".

That's my question about NIL, while players can sell merchandise, how many people are really going to buy these? This shirt is exhibit A for that conversation.
Id say there is more of a market for autographs but only if the school colors and logos are used in the photo - helmet or ball and thats where the legal/trademark stuff comes in

That's not the issue when it comes to NIL, he now has the right to make money off this regardless if anyone buys it or not. I heard the tail end of the NIL discussion on the way home yesterday afternoon. They were talking about how the market will play out in regards to Players making bad deals, or businesses/sponsors doing the same. It's interesting to think about and watch play out for sure. To be honest, I thought we'd see much more and much bigger than we have so far.

I agree, I'm surprised that more players haven't just posted a price list for autographs; 25.00 for an 8x10, or 40.00 for a mini helmet, etc. Or announced more private signing opportunities, etc. That way the collector is responsible for providing what gets signed, and the player isn't infringing upon the school's trademarks. They say the selfie has eliminated the autograph request, maybe that's true?

A selfie will never have any value

I don't disagree, but for an entire generation of people, the autograph was obtained as proof that you'd actually met that person, had an interaction with them. Now the selfie serves that purpose. For many it wasn't adding an autograph to a collection, but rather a memento of meeting a famous person.

Good kid but his football skills are completely lacking for something like this.

The worst starting Division l QB I’ve ever seen play.
Careful or you will summon Ktown-King and he will tell you about how great he is and....Oh wait...Silly me I forgot he changed his name to Salter fan club and he will come here and defend his heros with...Oh wait, He gone too....Oh well continue parties!

One thing is 100% certain, JG has heart. He's also playing for a team where the mascot is a lion.

Kids from his hometown will probably be rocking this, and maybe some folks at Wazzu if he gets the starting gig. Even if he just makes $500, the juice was worth the squeeze. Good luck to the kid.

Cougar. WSU are the Cougars.

So if I order one, the package is guaranteed to be intercepted at the carrier facility?
First, the shirt will get held up in shipping because once it comes off the assembly line, the worker will just stand there and hold it for no apparent reason despite the fact that everybody else can see an open box right there.

Gotta learn how to "throw the box open"

I kinda wonder the over/under on the number of minutes you'd survive in Neyland wearing that thing.....
