Another sign that our society is pathetic. Good, tough coach beaten by a few whiny kids, weak administration, and image concerns, IMO. The school administrators will get what they deserve- a UCF,FIU,FAU type program instead of a TCU,Boise State type.

FYI, according to story today, players were told by AD not to voice support for Leavitt.???? Sophomore safety Jerrelle Young said, "most players support Coach except for a couple bitter players."

Yep, Leavitt was good for that program. I highly, highly doubt he actually "punched" that kid. Especially with all the players supporting him like they are

USF has a talented team. Hopefully they will get a good coach to replace Leavitt. Just better not pick any of our coaches.:no:

With D line coach Mccarney getting passed over for UF DC, I look for him to be a strong candidate for the USF gig (former USF DC) and then pick over what's left of Meyer's assistants.

Pretty soon, Addazio may be the only one left from last year.???

FYI. USF at UF on 9/11/2010. Nice job, USF administrators, destroying all that you've hoped for and all that Leavitt's worked for. Freaky that Leavitt is canned the day after Bama wins the NC. Leavitt turned down the opportunity to speak with Bama before Saban got the job.

They did an internal investigation and it is about to come out that Leavitt did his fair share of smacking around players. My friend played there and said the guy is CRAZY!

I guess Fulmer will be campaigning for this job too. He needs to give it up. Nobody is going to hire him. If couldn't even get Louisville or Virginia to look at him, he might as well forget it.

USF will be fine as will Leavitt. CJL just proved to some good rising coaches that one can win with decent coaching given the recruits available to USF.

Not exactly how that went. Bama didn't want Leavitt because he was single. Mal Moore wanted ONE guy---NS. I am friends with a few Tide Priders and this was their info.

I don't doubt your info. Single, huh ? The new minority. If you're not married, something must be wrong with you. But if you've been divorced a few times and have kids all over the country, you must be ok. Ridiculous.

I just remember him being in the conversation and getting a nice raise soon afterwards.
