What’s going to happen here I’m afraid is UCLA is going to get Kelly and Arkansas will fire Brett next week and hire Gus then Auburn is also in a coaching search and we will twiddle our thumbs around and end up with a 3rd tier level coach. While everybody else makes quality hires.

Lol maybe UCLA job coming open actually is a good thing for gator fans and it makes the deal get done quicker then they were planning

Would be awesome esp since everybody assumes we ain't getting him now

Personally it would be stupid to agree as a coaching candidate before there are multiple openings. Let the schools bid against each other. Raise your earnings potential. Chip Kelly could still choose either job. But now if he chose Florida he can demand more than last week.

There's a new rumor that Bielama is getting canned sometime this week. Setting up to be quite the silly season.

You’re right. It sounds like as soon as UCLA opened up, UF was on a plane to see Kelly. I’m sure Kely’s agent had previously told Florida “here are the jobs we’d have interest in,” and maybe UCLA was one of those?

Hope Currier get off his behind and tries to hire Chip Kelly. What in the hell is he thinking about hiring an assistant to the assistant of some school who never won 10-12 games in their life. Here's a tip Mr. Currier check out the assistant coach from North Dakota State University. He has all the qualities you're looking for, he's real CHEAP. Dilly Dilly....

Kelly is done to Gainesville. Many sources that are super reliable and in the know reporting it.

Sorry, UCLA isn't happening.

Son of one of the father's directly involved with the UAA, Buddy Martin, Gatorcountry, Rivals Gator board, etc. etc. all reporting it. Buddy Martin is an emmy winning broadcaster, he doesn't make crap up.

It's not "official" per se, but it will be soon.
