There IS a core faction of people who can listen to Rome on a regular basis. I'm not one of them. Rome is hard to listen to for long periods of time unless you are some loner, serial-killer-in-training who thinks he is talking directly to you. I did hear the bit on the radio, today. I suppose I just had good timing because that's about the only time I had it on.

There are a lot of tools on sports talk radio. When I first heard Colin Cowherd, I didn't like him. After a few times, I warmed up. Now...to me, he is the best guy on radio. Far and away.

I had rather listen to NPR than suffer through the Adderall fueled combo of Mike and Mike. How can anybody be that fired up that early in the morning? For several hours, no less. Caffeine can only explain so much. I bet I know how Mike Golic lost all that weight...and it's not from doing Nutri System, either.

When are you guys gonna realize his radio show is awesome? That everett thing was silly, but it was a long time ago. There is no other radio show that has comparable guests, and he calls out every player/team/coach when they do something dumb or just suck. I love it. I like the Brick too, but I haven't heard him in a while.
I don't enjoy JRIB but I blame that on the producers at the crappy Disney owned ESPN.

I honestly gave it a shot. The magic just didn't happen for me. I suppose it's his insistence upon piecing together the English language in radical and incomprehensible colloquialisms that only he and his converts...er, I mean "clones"... can understand.

He's a scrotum with a radio show. It happens.

Exactly. He has no respect for anybody that calls into his show and is an arrogant jackass of epic proportions.
